Keenan Haagen (b. 2003) lives and works in Melbourne, Australia
Interested in everything creative, he has developed an extensive interest at the intersection of nature & design
Keenan grew up in South-East suburbs of Melbourne, where his natural curiosity and obsession for creative activities, quickly cultivated into a passion for the arts.
The artist's work is characterised by juxtaposing materials in foreign environments and spaces. He focuses on materials associations and perceptions, cherishing naturally occurring forms, patterns and the aesthetics of nature.
Nature is the fabric of everything, it is the greatest inspiration with infinite possibilities, the perfect designer of systems and processes, the artist of the most beautiful and complex things
'The Fragment' — Keenan describes 'fragments' as an aspect of the world; a moment, experience or aesthetic, that he uses as a foundation for his exploration of materials & processes

"Highlighting the beauty everywhere, for those who don't see it"
“Nature is the perfect designer of systems and processes, the artist of the most beautiful and complex things”
