Three ceramic forms, two fabric and one string that is compressed into a cube
Two ceramic forms made from fabric and string

The forms investigate a symbiosis of two factors: organic form and an implied boundary. Nature is symbolised as organic forms, the embodying of plants, animals, atoms, and the physical world. The forms operate as a symbol for an organism, due to their characteristics; voids, shape, detail, form, line and their relationship between positive and negative space.

The implied boundaries are a geometric form that seemingly constricts the organic form, this boundary does not exist in a physical sense, however is only characterised by the forms that embody it. The forms are impacted by something that is not there, a force we cannot see. The form is merely an imprint of the possible events that may have occurred — a trace. This relationship between the form and environment creates a mutual symbiotic relationship, of environment and space that impacts the characterisation of the form's physical attributes.
